Costs for a search assignment at Expat Relocation Brokers

  • Search assignment for lease: The start-up fee is €35,- and the cost in case of success is always equal to one month's rent plus VAT with a minimum amount of €500 plus VAT. We charge this fee if you have a search assignment with us and we find you a property that can be rented outside our own portfolio. If you are going to rent a property within our own portfolio or have found something yourself, these costs apart from the 'start-up fee already paid'  will not be charged. 
  • Search assignment purchase: The start-up rate is €35,- and the cost of success is 1.3% plus VAT and always on a no cure no pay principle.

Average costs asked by landlord after agreement

  • Rent (usually 1 month)
  • Deposit (often equal to 1 or 2 months' basic rent)

Documents needed with lease

  • Valid identity document
  • Proof of employment by employer
  • Pay slips (3 up to the last month)
  • Landlord's statement
  • Deed of guarantee (guarantee from employer, for example)
  • Profit and loss account (at least 3 years a business)

Several other documents may be requested depending on the situation. Keep in mind that we would like to have the documents together with the signed search assignment document. That way we can act faster for creating a joined succes.

We will also send you the document and the invoice for starting up the search assignment. You can read the document through at your convenience and return it to us signed and approved, together with proof of payment and the required documents.
